2012 is my year to shine how about you?

I have decided to take the challenge and do this thing right.  I am going to be working hard this year to turn this business upside down.  Get out of my comfort zone and talk to new people expand and go for it. 

My to do list this weekend is to make a dream board.  I am a very visual person by making this board I will be able to touch and see what I want.  No more sitting here checking out facebook and seeing all the posts about getting ready for the free cruise.  I am determined this year I will be the one getting ready. 

So small goals at first then work up to the big ole ones that may be a little more difficult.  My company offers so many wonderful incentives and I have gotten a few and let me tell you there is no better feeling then a good ole pat on the back.  Everyone loves to be told they did a great job this year I’m not going to wait for someone else to tell me I did a good job I will do it myself.

So here is my list of to dos for the following week:

• Make a dream board
• gather up samples and drop off in at least 2 new places
• Get invitations ready for my open houses
• Talk to at least one person about the opportunity

Is anyone out there?

I am going to say sorry in advance because this is somewhat a ranting post.  I feel that I might as well be talking to a brick wall sometimes.  I post here nothing I post on facebook nothing.  So I am left to wonder what am I doing wrong?  What does a gal have to do to get noticed around here? 

Actually, I think I can answer that myself.  Post, post and post some more how in the world can I expect to grow my blog and business if I don’t get it out there.  They say the best advertising is word of mouth and I can safely say I have one of the largest there is.  So why in the world am I not putting it out there.  As crazy as it may seem I do have a shyness problem.  I am great when I am doing events and people come to me I can talk all day long.  But, when it comes to just approaching someone nope you can forget it.

So guess I just need to focus on my strong points and see where that takes me.  Just have to remember Rome wasn’t built in a day.  Steve Job’s started off small in his garage and built an empire so here I am working everyday till I build mine. 

Well enough self pity time to make a difference or just jump off and move on.

Be True To You!

 

It’s been a while since I have posted there have been a lot of changes at The Crazy Candle Lady.  I have decided to be true to myself and do what makes me happy and worry about nobody else.  I love my business and I have made the move to go back to school to better myself and my business.  I have been a people pleaser my entire life doing what I thought would make everyone else happy all the while sacrificing my happiness.  Well I am now going to work on me and make myself happy. 

So this blog is going to be all about my journey.  I will still have my business tips and ideas on here and of course all the wonderful tidbits I learn along the way. 

This is the time of year where we start thinking about our New Years resolutions so I am getting the jump start on 2012.  So here it is by the end of the year I will have my Associates a degree in Business Management.  I will also have a team. 

Well that’s enough about me today.  Have you thought of your New Years resolution?  If so, I would love to hear what you have planned for 2012.

Just a thought for today

Happy day before Halloween to you all.  This will be a real quick post because we are heading out to a haunted house with the kids. 

I just got back from our monthly meeting.  If your upline holds meetings make sure you attend.  That is the one biggest tip I can give you.  It's a simple way to build your business.  I love them not only do I get to sit down and have some grown up conversation and eat great food.  I get to learn wonderful business tips. 

I know alot about running my business but I will be the first to admit I don't know everything.  I am learning everyday and meeting with these ladies that are in the same boat as I am in many instances is a great way to learn more. 

I love my upline and I know I benefit from all their successes and failures.  So head on over to your next meeting take a notepad.
