Fall is my favorite time of the year. I love the changing leaves colder weather and of course all the Pumpkin Spice Lattes. Way to many of those already this year already. Along with all of that comes all the holiday shopping and the parties.
Many stores offer discounts or specials that only come our during the holiday season. Do you offer something for your customers that you only roll out during this time of the year? Those that read this blog know that I am not a big fan of discounts all the time. I believe that it opens you up to customers that will always want that free gift or discount every time they order something. Bottom line that cuts into your profits and let's be honest we are all here to make money.
With all that being said. It is OK to offer discounts every once in a while say during the holiday season. But you have to make it worth your while. One that I like to offer is a bonus of $20 hostess dollars if you host $350 a show during the month of November. Or another good one is a bonus for hosting a show in January. You will find that your hostesses will be not only your customers but your friends. They will be the ones that will recommend you to their friends so make sure you treat them as VIPS. Let them know that you appreciate them for allowing you in their home. You will be greatly rewarded with a repeat customer and hostess.
So most importantly this season get out there have fun and find your VIP.
