Selling or Recruiting...

Which one is more profitable. I have actually done both and it was so hard I am not going to lie. Many people have told me you need to focus on one or the other. Make your minimum sales and kick butt in recruiting people to join your group. That way you make money on what they sell and it's less work on you. Well I quickly found out that is so not the case. You have to commit to that new recruit for at least three months for them to really succeed. In other words babysitting.
I am not trying to discourage anyone from recruiting I just want to make sure that you all understand it is not easy. At least if you want the recruit to stick around make a living and not drop off and quit. You can NOT sign them up and leave them hanging I have had that happen to me and I had to search for information and it made my journey so much more harder then it really needed to be.
I also believe you should at least be in your business for a solid 4 to 6 months before you start to recruit for your group. Why? Simple you need to know what you are doing if you are not familiar with the policies and product and the way to make money how are you going to teach someone else.
Here is my plan of action sell sell sell get out there and sell my product learn about my product and see what works and what does not. So I can show my team and help keep them from making mistakes at least as much as I can. If a recruit shows up in that time frame sign them up by no means am I saying not to. I am saying be honest they will appreciate you so much more if you are up front and honest let them know you are starting out and we can go through the trial and error phase together.
Tell them the things the upline does not want you to say. Let them know up front this is work a business the money and customers are not going to fall into your lap. Do not tell them your highest check from 2 years ago tell them in real terms. Like, I make enough every month to pay my car payment or get my pedicures and manicures every month.

Well I could go on about this topic forever so I will cut it short..... Tell me what you think what do you tell your recruits?
