Get up and get moving...

I read tons of blogs and articles everyday on my quest for knowledge I know I do not know everything far from it. But, I have a good foundation and I am learning everyday. I can read anything I want if I do not get up and get moving and put it into action I will not gain a thing. My office may be clean and organized and that is a big thing but you have to get out and talk to people make those connections or it will not matter what you do.
One thing I learned quickly in this business is the people have no idea you have a business unless you tell them. I have been in direct sales for 6 years and I have heard all kinds of sales pitches and I will tell you customers will never just show up on your door step you have to get out there you have to get moving and let them know what you have to offer.
Now this is why I love social media I can get out there and let people know what I have to offer. My main outlet is right here I love sharing what I have learned with everyone. The other is Facebook I get to stay in contact with people and I get to share my business with them as well. Very carefully I will say because spamming your business information is not cool. I will have a post of this soon.
But I am out there everyday with my books and samples talking to the people locally they are the core of my business the people I can have a face to face dialog and most importantly be friends with.
